I have an old tree in my villa garden.
I envisage to build a tree house for my kids where we can hold celebrations.
Can we do it or should it be risky of topple?
Trees in Egypt is not too strong to bear a house, but we can make solution to build a house over tree.
We have to build a small house where limited celebrations can be held.
1 - Design Tip
Treehouse should consist of a room, a bathroom and a small kitchen.
Around the room, there should be a terrace.
Naturally, ceiling shall be suitable to the ecological form of the tree. Walls, openings and staircase shall be made of wood beams and rope handrails not to slide down and to lessen loads.
2 - Technical Tip
First, we have to make beams to move loads to ground without relying on the tree to bear loads.
Structure shall be slightly fixed to the tree to give the effect effect of the tree house.
Beams should be built from ordinary concrete.
The wooden ceiling shall be fixed on wooden beams and boards then it should be fixed on pillars and props. Fixations should be done at 25 cm distance.
3 - Coloring Tip
Woods shall be of natural color and covered with filler coats.
Ceiling should be covered with straws and fronds.
Staircase should be in rope brown color.
4 - Shopping Tip
It is recommended to buy woods and materials from the adjacent locations to be ascertained that the wood shall be suitable to the climatic conditions.
