I'd like to have a Hamok in my garden.
I don't want to buy it but I wish to make it by myself in simple tools.
You can use two long sticks and ropes like twisted (Makrameya) ropes.
You can use some simple nodes to make twisted ropes and then use it in the Hamok in the garden.
1 - Design Tip
Hamok should be 2X60 cm.
Hamok should be hanged from two directions or from one direction according to the location where it will be used.
It is preferred to be placed in northern or eastern direction to enjoy air breezing.
2 - Technical Tip
Tie ropes on both sticks.
At the end of each rope, you can put a hook to be hanged on the tree or even on iron trusses on the terrace walls.
3 - Coloring Tip
It is recommended to use dark colors not to avoid dirt and to accept other colors to be used as pillow or mattress.
We can mix brown color in the hamok itself and yellow pillows to mach the carrier.
4 - Shopping Tip
It is recommended to buy Chandelier hooks to bear the carrier.
We can use bamboo sticks to be able to move the loads from the twisted ropes to the tree or the wooden trusses.
